Transmission

Washing Machine Transmission

The washing machine transmission transfers power from the motor to the drum, enabling the drum to rotate and clean the clothes. The transmission is made up of gears and pulleys, and it operates in a complex and precise manner to ensure that the washing machine runs smoothly and efficiently. Without a properly functioning transmission, the washing machine would not be able to clean clothes effectively, and it could even cause damage to the machine.

There are various types of washing machine transmissions, including direct-drive and belt-drive transmissions. Direct-drive transmissions are more common in modern washing machines and are known for their durability and efficiency. Belt-drive transmissions, on the other hand, are less common and are typically found in older washing machines.
