Installation Steps

Step 1: The valve-solenoid should be located. It is generally positioned at the rear of the refrigerator, often mounted on the side or beneath the unit.

Step 2: The refrigerator's power supply should be cut off prior to attempting to reach the valve-solenoid.

Step 3: The existing valve-solenoid should be taken out. This requires it to be unscrewed from its mounting, followed by it being gently extracted.

Step 4: A new valve-solenoid that is compatible with your refrigerator model should be installed in place of the old one.

Step 5: The new valve-solenoid should be secured back onto the mount and it should be verified that it is properly positioned.

Step 6: The power to the refrigerator should be restored.
