The Bertazzoni Z370186 Refrigerator Solenoid Valve regulates the supply of water to the ice maker and water dispenser. This is a part that is usually found on the back or inside of the refrigerator, close to the water inlet line. It is an electrically controlled switch, i.e., when the control board of the refrigerator sends a signal, the valve opens and the water flows through. A spring-loaded plunger closes the valve when the signal ceases to allow the water to flow.
