The Bertazzoni Z180032 Microwave High Voltage Diode converts the alternating current of the high voltage transformer into direct current as required by the magnetron to produce appliance energy. It will enable a flow of current in a single direction and resist current flowing in opposite directions, which will facilitate stable high-voltage delivery to maintain production of microwaves. The diode is installed in the high-voltage assembly behind the cooking cavity and combines transformer terminals and magnetron terminals with protective shields and wiring to keep the energy flow organized and ensure stable heating operation during usual operation.
