Installation Steps

Step 1: The refrigerator is disconnected from the power source.

Step 2: The water filter situated in the lower grille at the bottom of the refrigerator is found.

Step 3: The old filter is twisted counterclockwise to detach it from the base.

Step 4: The new filter is placed into the base and turned clockwise until it is securely positioned.

Step 5: If needed, the water filter indicator light is reset.

Step 6: The refrigerator is plugged back into the electrical outlet.

Step 7: Water is allowed to flow through the filter for 3 minutes to clear the system prior to usage.
