Product Description

The GE WR72X242 Refrigerator Right Hand Slide Assembly is a replacement component of equipment to support and guide a drawer on the right-hand side of the interior storage space. Installation Steps

Step 1: The refrigerator should be disconnected from the power source and the shelves should be taken out. To accomplish this, each shelf’s metal clips should be gently lifted to detach them from their brackets. Afterwards, the shelves should be set aside.

Step 2: The screws securing the back cover should be extracted. Typically, these are found near the upper and lower sections of the back cover. The cover should be carefully elevated and placed aside.

Step 3: The existing slide rail assembly should be identified. It should appear as a flat metal piece with screws positioned along both the top and bottom.

Step 4: The four bolts that hold the rail in place should be detached. The bolts should be kept accessible for reuse later.

Step 5: The rail should be removed from the refrigerator door. The replacement is now prepared to be installed!

Step 6: The new slide rail assembly should be positioned, ensuring the screws align with the holes in the door.

Step 7: The rail should be fastened by reinserting the four bolts.

Step 8: The back cover should be reattached and the shelves should be put back in place.

Step 9: The refrigerator should be reconnected to the power supply, and you’re finished!
