Installation Steps

Step 1: The GE refrigerator should be disconnected from the electrical outlet to eliminate power supply prior to initiating any servicing.

Step 2: The evaporator fan motor located within the refrigerator should be found. It is situated on the rear wall behind the freezer compartment.

Step 3: The evaporator fan motor should be extracted by loosening the two screws that secure it.

Step 4: The wiring harness should be detached from the evaporator fan motor by carefully pulling the connector until it disengages.
