The General Electric WR60X10272 Evaporator Cover Assembly is used to direct cold air over the evaporator coils to efficiently cool the refrigerator compartment. The evaporator fan motor which draws air over the coils to remove heat and force cooled air through the ductwork. It fits behind the rear panel in the freezer section and is necessary for the consistent internal temperature of the refrigerator.
