Installation Steps

Step 1: Ensure power is disconnected from the refrigerator prior to initiating any repairs.

Step 2: The screws securing the back panel of the evaporator fan motor housing are removed and it is taken off.

Step 3: The wiring harness is gently detached from the existing fan motor and the three screws that hold the fan motor to the housing are taken out.

Step 4: The fan blade is carefully extracted and placed aside.

Step 5: The new WR60X10185 GE Evaporator Fan Motor is inserted into the housing, the three screws are fastened, and the wiring harness is reconnected.

Step 6: The back panel is reinstalled onto the housing and the screws are secured.

Step 7: Power is restored and the functionality of the new motor is verified. If everything operates correctly, your repair is finished.
