The General Electric WR2X9393 Refrigerator Drain Heat Sensor transfers heat to the drain area to reduce ice maintain an open path for defrost water flow within the appliance. It regulates warmth from a nearby heat source toward the drain opening, allowing water to move through the drainage path without obstruction during defrost cycles. The drainpipe is installed near the drain section where it extends between the heat source and the drain opening. It works with related defrost and drainage components to maintain proper water movement.
