Installation Steps

Step 1: The power source to your refrigerator should be disconnected. The refrigerator's plug should be removed from the wall socket and the gas supply should be switched off if necessary.

Step 2: The GE WR24X10227 Gasket Door situated at the rear of the refrigerator should be located.

Step 3: The old gasket should be gently extracted by pulling it away from the perimeter of the refrigerator door.

Step 4: Measurements of the new gasket should be taken and its dimensions should be verified against those of the old gasket. It should ensure that both are identical in size before moving forward.

Step 5: The new gasket should be positioned along the inner edge of the door.

Step 6: The gasket should be fastened in position using screws or adhesive. A mix of both methods may need to be utilized. It should be confirmed that the gasket is firmly secured and tightly fitted.

Step 7: The power source to the refrigerator should be reconnected and the plug should be inserted back into the outlet.
