Installation Steps

Step 1: The refrigerator is disconnected from its electrical outlet.

Step 2: The rear panel of the refrigerator is removed and any other panels connected to it are detached to gain access to the evaporator fan rear bracket.

Step 3: The screws/fasteners that hold the evaporator fan rear bracket in position are taken out.

Step 4: The evaporator fan rear bracket is gently taken away from the refrigerator and placed aside.

Step 5: The new GE WR21X30022 evaporator fan rear bracket is positioned and the screws/fasteners are fastened securely.

Step 6: The back panel and any other panels are reattached back onto the refrigerator.

Step 7: The refrigerator is reconnected to a power source.

Step 8: The functionality of the evaporator fan rear bracket is verified to confirm it is operating correctly.
