Installation Steps

Step 1: Prior to starting, it should be confirmed that the water supply is turned off. This can be achieved by having the main water valve situated near your home’s water meter shut off.

Step 2: The current water line connector should be identified. It will feature two metal nuts at either end.

Step 3: Both metal nuts should be detached, taking care to avoid losing any components or damaging the plastic piping.

Step 4: The old water line connector should be extracted and disposed of.

Step 5: The new water line connector, which should come with two small rubber o-rings, should be fitted. The o-rings should be positioned on the ends of the connector.

Step 6: The new water line connector should be fastened securely by having the metal nuts tightened. It should ensure that these nuts are not overtightened, as this may harm the plastic piping.

Step 7: The water supply should be re-established by having the main water valve located near your home’s water meter turned on.

Step 8: The water should be let flow for a few minutes to confirm that there are no leaks at the connection.

Step 9: After confirming that the connection is secure and free of leaks, the water supply should be turned off at the main water valve once more to finalize the installation.

It is important to note that these instructions are served as general guidance and should always be followed in conjunction with the manufacturer’s manual, if available.
