Product Description
The Whirlpool WPY04000036 Range Surface Burner Element uses electrical power to generate heat to cook on the appliance burner. It is installed in the cooktop burner receptacle and plugs into the electrical supply of the appliance using a plug-in terminal interface, which connects the element to the internal wiring harness and surface control switch. The exposed cooking surface is the coiled heating element that comprises the top component that rests above the drip bowl or support ring. By using regulated electrical resistance and coordination with the surface element switch, it produces, and manages heat production.
