Product Description
The Whirlpool WPY04000035 Range Coil Surface Element generates radiant heat for surface cooking on a compatible electric appliance. It can be installed in the cooktop receptacle and is attached to the terminal block by plug-in contacts, which deliver controlled electrical current to the cooktop. The element is set up to heat a thermal product through the electrical signal and infinite switch adjustment to variable temperatures. This has been integrated with the control system of the range to facilitate even distribution of heat and even temperature control throughout normal cooking process.
