Installation Steps

Step 1: The refrigerator should be disconnected from the electrical outlet prior to beginning.

Step 2: The run capacitor, which ought to be linked to both the compressor and fan motor, should be identified, situated at the rear of the refrigerator or within the chassis.

Step 3: If the capacitor is difficult to find, your owner's manual should be consulted or a schematic of the specific model from the manufacturer that is being addressed should be looked online for.

Step 4: The screws that hold the capacitor to the fan motor should be taken out with a screwdriver.

Step 5: The wires from the run capacitor should be gently detached. The arrangement of the old capacitor should be observed for matching it with the new one.

Step 6: The old capacitor should be removed and disposed of appropriately.

Step 7: The new replacement capacitor should be obtained and the wires should be attached following the same layout as the previous one.

Step 8: The capacitor should be reconnected to the fan motor and fastened using the mounting screws.

Step 9: The refrigerator should be reconnected to the power outlet, the power should be turned on, and it should be verified that the unit operates correctly.

Step 10: Lastly, it should ensure that any leftover parts, tools, and the old capacitor are kept in a secure location.

Please remember, these instructions are served as general guidance and should always be utilized alongside the manufacturer's manual, if available.
