Installation Steps

Step 1: The dryer should be disconnected from the electrical outlet and the power source should be disabled.

Step 2: The dryer should be moved away from the wall and the front panel should be identified. The screws holding the front panel in place should be detached, then the panel should be gently lifted off.

Step 3: The worn or defective tri-ring should be identified. It will be positioned near the center of the dryer drum. If needed, a flashlight should be utilized for better visibility.

Step 4: The old tri-ring should be gently extracted using your fingers. It should ensure that the ring is pushed out carefully to avoid harming any other dryer components.

Step 5: The new WPW10512946 Whirlpool dryer drum roller tri-ring should be positioned into the opening left by the removed one. It should be firmly pressed in until it fits securely.

Step 6: The dryer should be reassembled by reinstating the front panel and securing it with the screws.

Step 7: The dryer should be reconnected to the power outlet and the power supply should be activated.
