The Whirlpool WPW10511923 Ice Machine Ice Bin Thermistor operates based on the changes in temperature and send signals to the control board and the cooling cycles. This process is useful in ensuring that there is a constant supply of ice by avoiding cases where the ice melts or freezes more than it should. The thermistor optimizes the performance, conserves energy, and increases the durability of the ice machine.
