Installation Steps

Step 1: The refrigerator is disconnected from the power source and all contents are taken out from the refrigerator compartment.

Step 2: The two screws securing the trim panel located inside the refrigerator, just above the top shelf, are identified and taken out.

Step 3: The trim panel is extracted, revealing the thermistor positioned beneath it.

Step 4: The wiring harness is detached from the thermistor.

Step 5: The mounting clip attached to the old thermistor is removed.

Step 6: Your new WPW10383615 Whirlpool Refrigerator Thermistor is obtained and the wiring harness is inserted into the appropriate slot.

Step 7: The new thermistor is fastened using the mounting clip.

Step 8: The trim panel is reinserted and secured with the two screws.
