Installation Steps

Step 1: The oven vent grille should be detached. A flathead screwdriver should be carefully inserted into the gap at the top of the oven vent grille. The screwdriver should be gently twisted to release the grille and then it should be pulled away from the oven.

Step 2: The mounting screws should be taken out. Once the grille is off, two screws securing the vent will be seen. These screws should be removed with a Phillips head screwdriver and set aside.

Step 3: The old vent should be extracted. At this point, the old vent should be loose and can be pulled out from the oven. It should be placed on a work surface, preparing for the installation of the new vent.

Step 4: The new vent should be fitted. The new vent should be positioned into the same location where the old vent was and the mounting screws should be reinserted. It should ensure that the screws are tightened properly to secure the vent.

Step 5: The grille should be reattached. The oven vent grille should be aligned over the vent and pressed down until it clicks into place.

Your Whirlpool WPW10351279 VENT-OVEN should now be successfully installed. The power should be reconnected after finishing the installation and the oven should be tested to verify proper operation.
