Installation Steps

Step 1: Your dishwasher is disconnected from its electrical supply.

Step 2: The lower front kick plate is detached by pulling outward on the two clips located on either side of the bottom panel.

Step 3: The water inlet valve situated on the right side of the dishwasher’s interior is identified.

Step 4: The water supply to the dishwasher is shut off using the shutoff valve found behind the appliance.

Step 5: The two 3/8” water lines are unlinked from the inlet valve.

Step 6: The screws securing the water inlet valve are removed.

Step 7: The old inlet valve is gently extracted from the dishwasher.

Step 8: The new WPW10327249 Whirlpool Dishwasher Water Inlet Fill Valve is positioned into the dishwasher, ensuring it is firmly secured with the mounting screws.

Step 9: The hoses are reattached to the new inlet valve.

Step 10: The water supply is reactivated and the dishwasher is reconnected to the electrical source.

Step 11: The dishwasher is operated with a cycle to verify the water inlet valve is working properly.

Step 12: The lower kick plate is reinstalled and you are finished!
