Installation Steps

Step 1: The appliance should be disconnected from the electrical outlet and the water supply should be turned off if this has not been done already.

Step 2: The Motor-Evap should be identified, typically positioned behind the evaporator cover panel of the refrigerator.

Step 3: The screws securing the panel should be taken out using a screwdriver.

Step 4: The evaporator cover panel should be carefully detached from the rear of the refrigerator, ensuring that the insulation remains intact and no electrical connections are disturbed.

Step 6: The screws on both sides of the Motor-Evap should be removed with a screwdriver.

Step 7: The Motor-Evap should be extracted from the refrigerator and disposed of.

Step 8: The new Motor-Evap should be positioned into the area left vacant by the previous unit and fastened with the mounting screws.

Step 9: The wiring harnesses should be reattached to the new Motor-Evap.

Step 10: The evaporator cover panel should be reinstalled, ensuring the insulation is correctly positioned, and secured with the mounting screws.

Step 11: Power should be reapplied to the refrigerator and the water supply should be reactivated.

Step 12: The motor-evap functionality should be verified to confirm it operates properly.
