Installation Steps

Step 1: The refrigerator should be disconnected from its electrical outlet and the water supply leading to the refrigerator should be shut off.

Step 2: The lower back panel located inside the refrigerator should be taken off and the water line along with the drain hose that connects to the pump should be detached.

Step 3: The clamp securing the pump should be unscrewed and the old pump should be taken out.

Step 4: The new Whirlpool WPW10276397 PUMP-WATER should be positioned and fastened with the clamp.

Step 5: The water line and drain hose linked to the pump should be reattached.

Step 6: The lower back panel should be reinstalled and the refrigerator should be reconnected to its power source.

Step 7: The water supply to the refrigerator should be activated and any leaks should be inspected.
