Installation Steps

Step 1: Your workspace should be cleared by removing any objects that may obstruct your progress. The Whirlpool Range should be disconnected from the wall outlet and then the power should be disabled at the circuit breaker.

Step 2: The screws that hold the two terminal blocks connected to the element should be taken out. Afterward, the complete element along with the terminal blocks should be detached.

Step 3: The new surface element should be positioned in precisely the same manner as the old one was taken out. It should ensure that the terminal blocks are correctly placed and securely tightened with the screws.

Step 4: The Whirlpool Range should be reconnected to the wall outlet and the power should be restored at the circuit breaker.

Step 5: The element switch should be activated to "ON" and your installation should be verified by setting the element to a low temperature. If the element fails to heat, steps 1-4 should be repeated.

Step 6: Once the element is heating properly, the element should be switched off and then the Whirlpool Range should be disconnected from the wall outlet. The workspace should be tidied up and your new surface element should be enjoyed.
