Installation Steps

Step 1: The refrigerator should be disconnected from its electrical supply.

Step 2: The door(s) should be opened and any objects that might be on the door shelf should be taken out.

Step 3: The lower door hinge cover found at the back of the door should be detached.

Step 4: After the cover is removed, a screwdriver should be employed to loosen the screws securing the hinge and the hinge should be taken off.

Step 5: The cam will now be exposed on the door. A flat-head screwdriver should be utilized to lift it off the door.

Step 6: The new closing cam should be positioned and pressure should be applied to ensure it is firmly in place.

Step 7: The hinge should be reinstalled and secured by tightening the screws.

Step 8: The door hinge cover should be reattached.

Step 9: Any items should be returned to the door shelf area and the door should be shut.

Step 10: The refrigerator should be reconnected to its power source and your newly installed door closing cam should be enjoyed!
