Installation Steps

Step 1: The dryer should be disconnected from the electrical outlet.

Step 2: The dryer should be moved away from the wall and the screw located at the back of the unit should be identified.

Step 3: The screw should be taken out with a Phillips-head screwdriver.

Step 4: The belt tensioner pulley, situated near the rear of the appliance and connected to the motor, should be found.

Step 5: The tensioner pulley should be drawn away from the motor to free the belt. The old belt should be gently removed and placed aside.

Step 6: The new belt should be positioned, making sure it is properly seated on all pulleys.

Step 7: The tensioner pulley should be drawn back toward the motor to secure the belt.

Step 8: It should be verified that the belt is tight and correctly aligned with the pulleys.

Step 9: The screw should be reinserted to fasten the tensioner pulley.

Step 10: The dryer should be pushed back into its original position and reconnected to the power source.
