The Whirlpool WPW10116738 Siphon Break Elbow is an indispensable part in your washer/dryer combo that prevents sewer gasses and odors from entering your laundry room. The drain hose is connected to the washer's internal drain system by this little, L-shaped plastic component. A little bit of water is trapped in the elbow's construction.
