Product Description

\The original Whirlpool WPW10111905 Dryer Door Catch Replacement is a necessary component for your Whirlpool dryer. It's a little but vital component that ensures your dryer works quietly and effectively. The dryer door catch is a mechanism that keeps the dryer door closed while it is in operation. When you close the dryer door, the latch makes contact with an impact metal on the dryer structure, essentially locking the door. This prevents heat and moisture from escaping throughout the drying process, which is vital for proper drying and fire safety. Furthermore, a properly functioning door catch guarantees that the dryer does not operate with the door open, thereby reducing accidents and injuries.

Step 5: At this point, the new catch should be positioned and its stability should be verified.

Step 6: Then, any wiring associated with the catch should be reconnected and it should be fastened with a plastic tie if needed.
