Installation Steps

Step 1: The required tools and materials will need to be assembled. A Phillips-head screwdriver, needle nose pliers, a new Whirlpool WPD7749401 CAP- HELIX, and an adjustable wrench will be needed.

Step 2: The appliance should be disconnected from the power supply. Either the electrical cord should be unplugged from the outlet or the circuit breaker at the main panel should be switched off to ensure the appliance is completely powered down.
