Product Description

The Whirlpool WP8573713 Dryer Thermal Cut-Off Fuse is an important safety feature that protects your clothes dryer. It guards your appliance against overheating quietly. The dryer's heating element is automatically turned off by this little metal fuse when the temperature climbs above a safe level. This lowers the possibility of fire hazards and guards against possible harm to the dryer's interior components. In essence, if overheating happens, the fuse sacrifices itself by cutting off power to the heating element. To keep your dryer operating securely and effectively, replacing a defective thermal cut-off fuse is a reasonably easy and affordable repair.
