Product Description

The Whirlpool WP8523173 Range Door Trim is used to secure and connect the outer edge to the appliance door assembly to retain the internal door glass panels. It is attached to the side section of the range door frame and installed to fit the geometry of the door perimeter and is connected by specified mounting points, which attach to the door shell. The door panels are attached to the trim to create alignment of the enclosure. It assists in the stability of doors and even thermal containment during normal operation of baking and heating cycles.
