Installation Steps

Step 1: All required tools should be assembled. A Phillips head screwdriver, a flathead screwdriver, and a pair of needle nose pliers will be needed.

Step 2: The screws should be extracted from the children lock. Your Phillips head screwdriver should be employed to remove the two screws positioned beneath the children lock.

Step 3: The spring-loaded cover should be removed. The flathead screwdriver should be placed into the slot at the top of the children lock. The screwdriver should be gently rotated until the cover comes free from the lock.

Step 4: The old lock should be eliminated. After the cover is off, the old lock should be able to be taken out. The needle nose pliers should be utilized to carefully pull out the old lock.

Step 5: The new lock should be positioned. It should ensure that the new lock is firmly placed in its designated spot.

Step 6: The cover should be reattached. The spring-loaded cover should be reinserted into its original position, and the Phillips head screwdriver should be used to fasten it with the two screws.

Step 7: The lock should be verified. It should be confirmed that the new lock is securely in place, and it should be tested to ensure it functions correctly.
