Installation Steps

Step 1: Power to your appliance should be disconnected. Either it should be unplugged from the wall outlet or the circuit breaker dedicated to the appliance should be turned off.

Step 2: The refrigerator door should be gently opened. A Phillips head screwdriver will be required for the following step.

Step 3: Two screws on the inside of the door frame and one on the outside should be located. The Phillips head should be utilized to extract the three screws and they should be kept in a secure location.

Step 4: After the screws have been taken out, the handle can be withdrawn. Caution should be exercised to avoid damaging the door frame while the handle is being removed.

Step 5: The new parts should be unpacked and the screws should be positioned in alignment with the holes in the handle. The handle should be lightly pushed into the holes until it is securely fitted.

Step 6: With the Phillips head screwdriver, the three screws that were previously removed should be reattached.

Step 7: After the screws are tightened, the handle should be checked to ensure it is properly installed and functions smoothly.

Step 8: Any electrical safety devices that may have been affected during the handle replacement should be reinstalled. This may involve the circuit breaker being reset or the appliance being reconnected to the wall outlet.

Step 9: The door should be closed, and the job is complete!
