Product Description
The Whirlpool WP35001092 Dryer High Limit Thermostat monitors temperature within the heating system and interrupts the heating circuit when the sensed temperature reaches its limit. It is placed near the heating assembly or airflow area & where it responds to temperature changes during drying. As heat rises to the specified threshold, the thermostat changes electrical continuity and stops current to the heating circuit. Its switching coordinates with the dryer controls and heating components to regulate temperature. The thermostat is a part of the dryer's security and temperature control system, supporting heat control during drying cycles.
