Installation Steps

Step 1: Your range should be disconnected from the wall outlet and the breaker should be switched off to confirm it is powered down and will not reactivate.

Step 2: The burner grates should be taken out from the range's surface by lifting them off their mounts.

Step 3: A flat-head screwdriver should be employed to loosen and extract the screws securing the burner head.

Step 4: The wires linking the burner head to the range should be detached by gently unplugging them.

Step 5: The old burner head should be carefully extracted by gripping it with needle-nose pliers and gently pulling it out.

Step 6: The new Whirlpool WP3412D024-26 burner head should be positioned into the range, ensuring its brackets align perfectly with the slots.

Step 7: The wires should be reconnected to the burner head.

Step 8: The burner head should be fastened by reinstalling the screws.

Step 9: The burner grates should be placed back onto the range and it should be reconnected to the wall outlet.
