Product Description

The Whirlpool WP3406108 Dryer Door Switch is a safety mechanism embedded within your clothes dryer. It serves as a conduit for communication between the control system and the dryer's door. The switch turns on when the dryer door is locked and closed firmly. This lets the control board know it's okay to start the drying cycle by sending out a signal. The switch protects against any injury or damage by prohibiting the dryer from operating with the door open. Conversely, even Once the door is closed, a broken door switch may prevent the dryer from starting. You can safely resume drying clothing by replacing a malfunctioning W3406108 Dryer Door Switch, which also guarantees correct dryer operation.
