Product Description

The Whirlpool WP339956 is a straightforward yet essential part of your clothes dryer. This foam seal forms a tight barrier between the dryer drum and the exhaust duct by nestling around the lint trap housing. Hot air and moisture are released from the drum during operation via the exhaust system and lint trap. At this crucial intersection, the WP339956 seal keeps air leaks from happening. By allowing hot air to escape, leaks can lower drying efficiency, which may result in longer drying times and greater energy costs. Furthermore, if the dryer's seal is damaged, moisture may condense inside, which may encourage the growth of mold and even harm internal parts.
