Product Description

The Whirlpool WP338906 Dryer Gas Radiant Sensor ensures proper ignition by detecting heat from the burner flame, allowing gas to flow for efficient drying. This sensor plays a crucial role in gas dryers by confirming the presence of a flame before keeping the gas valve open. It works by sensing infrared heat and signaling the control system to continue operation, preventing unlit gas from accumulating. With precise flame detection, it enhances drying performance, prevents gas leaks, and improves energy efficiency. Its accurate operation supports consistent drying cycles, ensuring clothes are evenly dried. Designed for seamless functionality, this sensor helps maintain safe and efficient dryer performance.
