The Whirlpool WP33303391 Dryer Thermostat manages the levels of heat inside the appliance and opens the contacts based on the amount of heat detected. It operates by a temperature bimetal disc, which bends as the temperature increases; then the heating circuit is controlled by this. It is normally attached to the blower housing assembly by using screws and attached to the wiring harness. This allows to prevent overheating of components, ensures constant drying activity, and ensures stable thermal regulation.
