Installation Steps

Step 1: The refrigerator should be disconnected from the power source prior to commencing any tasks.

Step 2: The fuse situated on the rear panel found inside the refrigerator should be identified.

Step 3: The rear panel should be taken off and the thermal fuse should be found.

Step 4: The wires linked to the thermal fuse should be detached.

Step 5: After the wires are detached, the old thermal fuse may now be extracted.

Step 6: The arrangement of the wires should be observed before removing the old fuse, as it must be reinstalled in the same orientation for correct functionality.

Step 7: The new Whirlpool WP307473 FUSE-THRML should be positioned in the identical location as the old fuse.

Step 8: The wires should be attached to the terminal of the new fuse.

Step 9: The back panel should be reattached and the refrigerator should be reconnected to the power source.

Step 10: The refrigerator should be activated and it should be verified that it operates correctly.
