Product Description

The Whirlpool W27001006 is a replacement drive belt made exclusively for Whirlpool washers. It is an essential part that facilitates the power transfer from the motor to the washer drum, allowing the drum to spin and toss your garments while the cycle is washing.  Think of it like a secret band performing behind closed doors. Your clothes are agitated and cleaned while the engine turns, spinning the drive belt and drum in turn. A damaged or worn-out drive belt might cause the washer to spin slowly, not at all, or make strange noises, among other issues. The Whirlpool W27001006 drive belt replacement may fix a malfunctioning drive belt in your washer and guarantee that your clothes are washed effectively and thoroughly.

Installation Steps

Step 1: The dryer should be disconnected from the power source before commencing any repair tasks.

Step 2: The dryer's cabinet should be accessed by opening the door and identifying the drive belt.

Step 3: A Phillips head screwdriver should be employed to take out the screws securing the front panel of the cabinet.

Step 4: The front panel should be elevated until it stands at a right angle to the ground.

Step 5: Both sides of the drive belt should be taken hold of and carefully pulled away from the motor pulleys.

Step 6: The new drive belt should be positioned around the motor pulleys, ensuring it aligns accurately with the grooved wheel.

Step 7: The belt should be moved toward the drum and verified that it is correctly positioned.

Step 8: The front panel should be reattached and secured with the Phillips head screws.
