Installation Steps

Step 1: Disconnect the refrigerator. Ensure that the fridge is unplugged prior to starting.

Step 2: Take off the front grille. With a Phillips head screwdriver, the screws securing the front grille are taken out. After removing the screws, the grille is carefully pulled away from the refrigerator.

Step 3: Detach the tubing. The water line attached to the endcap is identified and detached by pressing down on the connector and pulling it away from the endcap.

Step 4: Extract the endcap. The endcap is secured by two screws. Your Phillips head screwdriver is employed to unscrew them. Next, the old endcap is pulled off the refrigerator.

Step 5: Place the new endcap. The new endcap is slid onto the refrigerator and fastened with the two screws.

Step 6: Reattach the water line. The water line is inserted back onto the endcap and pressed down firmly until it is secured.

Step 7: Refit the front grille. The front grille is repositioned onto the refrigerator and secured with the screws.

Step 8: Reconnect the refrigerator. Once the installation is finalized, the refrigerator is plugged back in and you are finished!
