Step 1: The appliance is to be disconnected from the electrical outlet and shifted aside. The drive belt, which is generally positioned around the motor, is to be identified.

Step 2: To alleviate the tension on the drive belt, a flathead screwdriver or hex wrench is to be utilized to take out the screws securing the motor bracket.

Step 3: The motor bracket is to be gently removed from the motor. A pair of pliers may be required to detach the drive belt from the pulley.
