Installation Steps

Step 1: The refrigerator should be disconnected from the electrical outlet and the water supply to the unit should be shut off.

Step 2: The access panel located at the top of the refrigerator should be taken off and the switch-LI should be found.

Step 3: The wires should be detached from the switch-LI.

Step 4: The two screws that hold the switch-LI in place on the cabinet should be removed and the switch-LI should be taken out.

Step 5: The new switch-LI should be positioned in the identical spot and it should be fastened with the two screws.

Step 6: The wires should be reattached to the new switch-LI.

Step 7: The access panel should be reinstalled and the refrigerator should be reconnected to the electrical outlet.

Step 8: The water supply to the refrigerator should be restored and the switch-LI should be checked to ensure it operates properly.
