Product Description
The Whirlpool WPY307931 Dryer Solenoid Gas Valve regulates the supply of gas to the burner in a gas appliance. It works by opening and closing the valve ports by the use of electrically actuated solenoids in response to the signals sent by the control board of the dryer to allow gas to enter the combustion chamber. It is fitted close to the gas manifold in the rear or lower part of the dryer connected to the supply line and ignition system.
