The Whirlpool WP346343 Dryer PTS Relay regulates the initiation of the appliance motor circuit during the start sequence. It is fitted within the control console where it connects to the push-to-start switch, timer or electronic control, drive motor and wiring harness through designated electrical terminals. It integrates an electromechanical relay assembly with electrical contacts and switching components that coordinate momentary power supply to the motor when the start button is pressed, allowing the dryer to begin operation. It operates motor startup through a structured relay assembly and maintains dependable electrical switching and synchronized dryer operation.
