The Whirlpool W11510001 Range Manifold Assembly controls the flow of gases to the burners by diverting supply pressure to single burner valves and burner openings. Internal passages take the gas entering the manifold and spread it equally to the individual control valves, which means that the fuel is provided to the proper burner depending on the control settings. It attaches to the surface of the cooktop such that it aligns with burner valves and supply connection points, such that gas routes are kept open and correctly set in place to allow uniform combustion when the cooker is in operation.
