The Whirlpool W11369885 Wall Oven Vent controls the hot air and cooking vapors in the component cavity when bake and broil modes are on. It channelizes exhaust via a ducted route attached to the top or rear outlet of the appliance, venting the heat outside the cabinet enclosure and eliminating a buildup of heat internally and airflow is also regulated by openings to ensure equal cabinet pressure. It is mounted above or behind the appliance chassis and directs vapors through ducts built into the walls or above through mounting brackets.
