The Whirlpool W11348087 Wall Oven Light Bulb is used to light up the inside of the appliance, where electrical energy is converted to light. With the line voltage being applied to the lighting circuit of the appliance, the filament or light-emitting element emits light that enables easy observation of the contents without necessarily opening the door. It can be placed in the oven cavity in a sealed lamp housing or socket that stays out of the way of the heat and splatter and can be replaced by simply accessing the interior trim of the appliance when required.
