Product Description

The Whirlpool W11219115 Washing Machine Outer Tub Assembly is installed in the machine's cabinet and supports the inner tub, allowing the drum to rotate during the wash and spin cycles. Installation Steps

Step 1: Your washer must be disconnected from the power source. The electrical power to the washer must be ensured to be disconnected and it must be verified that it is off before moving on with the installation.

Step 2: The top panel of your washer must be taken off. With your Phillips-head screwdriver, the screws that secure the top panel to the cabinet must be removed. The top panel must be carefully raised away from the washer and placed aside.

Step 3: The water hoses must be detached. Your pliers must be utilized to separate the inlet and outlet hoses from the washer. A bucket must be on hand to catch any residual water that may be in the hoses.

Step 4: The old tub-outer must be taken out. Your adjustable wrench must be employed to loosen and detach the four bolts securing the old tub-outer. The old tub-outer must be gently lifted off the washer and placed aside.

Step 5: The new tub-outer must be positioned. The new tub-outer must be inserted into the opening and aligned with the four bolt holes. It must be fastened into place using the same four bolts that had been removed earlier.

Step 6: The water hoses must be reattached. The inlet and outlet hoses must be reconnected to the washer and thread sealant must be applied to guarantee a secure seal.

Step 7: The top panel must be reinstalled. The top panel must be set back onto the washer and secured using the screws that were previously removed.

Step 8: Your washer must be reconnected to the power source. The electrical power must be plugged back into the washer and it must be ensured that it is turned off before moving to the next step.

The Whirlpool W11219115 tub-outer has been successfully swapped out.
